I have been working with Vesid, and the Action Towards Employment Program to obtain a decent job. There are many comapnies that say they are "EOE"; when it comes down to it, they discriminate.

Here are a few of the places that I have repeatedly applied for jobs that I more then qualify for, and never had more then a phone interview.

Pepsi, Coca Cola, UPS, Fed Ex...

As soon as they were made aware of my disability, the tone of the interview changed, and I was never called back..

Lynne Sebring is my counselor through the Action Towards Employment Program. When she talked to the hiring manager at Pepsi, Coca Cola, UPS, etc; all she got was the run around. Lynne tried to explain how ATEP pays for the first month of a person such as myself to be on the job; they seemed less then interested.

The thing that tweaks me is that all these big companies want to have the "Image" of being fair in hiring. When it comes down to doing it; well thats another story. Companies are experts at not telling you why they never gave you a chance. If they told the truth about why you were not right for them, half of those companies would be sued.

I would like Coca-Cola, Pepsi, UPS, and Fed Ex to be investigated for discriminating against people with disabilities.

Is there a place I could file a complaint to, in order to have my voice heard???
