Kaplan University
Kaplan online exhausted my financial aid, told me they were accredited, but courses aren't

After finishing 4.5 years at Kaplan, they have exhausted my financial aid, refuse to give me my degree because they all of a sudden are telling me I owe out of pocket money. I have paid 80,000 dollars to go to this school. I was told they were accredited and have now found out that their courses aren't approved and basically my BS means nothing. I call all the time and they take forever to answer they phone and it gets no where. They made me take extra credits that I didn't even need to take and can't explain it. I had a credit of over payment on my account and they claim they used it for prior years but can't prove it. They misled me and many others and I want to get the word out. I don't know how to take this any further so if anyone else has be misled or taken advantage of for their financial aid please contact me. 80 thousand is way too much for a degree that is useless. They shouldn't tell students they are accredited without explaining they won't be able to use their credits anywhere else. They call me several times a week for the money that they claim I still owe when they have been paid.
