Charged $5296 for classes never taken

In 2007 I had been resting at my table operating, I noticed an ad about online courses with UMUC, and so I chose to complete the request type for anyone to contact me. A repetition named me and we spoke, he questioned which kind of function do I actually do, and based on my solutions he explained we've courses that'll be beginning soon. I said good. Then he proceeded to inform me that I had a need to spend an application charge of $50, and total educational funding software. Well, I never settled the appliance charge or finished the educational funding paper-work. I told them that used to donot contain it and that I might do that in a later period.

Next, point I understood is the fact that I began getting expenses, and selections calls, seeking $5296 for 3 classes on the web. I've appealed, recommended them that I had been not really a pupil and so forth. The charm was refused, plus they proceeded with switching me in to the government selection so they may intercept my national taxes. UMUC can't proceed to grab from people this isn't right. I'm just one mom and that I anticipate getting my tax return but I'll not document till that is obvious. I'll apply for an expansion using the government.
