Rip-off scam! I'm relieved to have found consumer complaints!

I was recently contacted by a representative from CAMCO named "Mike". He informed me that I had an outstanding debt from Citibank in the amount of $8100 from 1989... 15 years ago.

Mike stated that I should have recieved a letter last week from Citibank requesting a payoff amount... Which I never did, and I told him as much. I got a bad feeling right from the start that something wasn't right with this picture. I told him that I was not going to get into it with him and for him NOT to call here again... Then I hung up on him. He called right back and started again.By this time I was really angry and told him NOT to call again or I would report him to the State Attorney General. At that point he stopped talking and I hung up again. He didn't call back a third time.

I checked my caller ID and saw "BLOCKED CALL", so I hit *69 and got a recording that the number was 876-951-6834. I checked the area code and found it to be from Jamaica! Then I really got suspicious and decided to check them out online, which is how I found this site. And Thank God for that!!!
