Ripoff I don't know how this company got to my information and why they've charged my credit card on the 13th of every month for the past 3 months

For one month, I had an account with a company named FreeCreditReport.com. They also function as TrueLink.com. I cancelled that account two months ago.
Right after I cancelled the account I started being charged $7.95 on my credit card. I thought it was a mistakeand I called the company. To my surprize, they were not the ones charging my card. My account was charged without any knowledge on my part by a company named Cic Credit Monitoring. I don't know how this company got to my information and why they've charged my credit card on the 13th of every month for the past 3 months.
I see many other people have complained about this company. How can we stop this scam?
So far, I've been fortunate. My credit card company has agreed to credit my account.
