I was charged the infamous $9.95 by e-zsoft.com After reading through posts here and doing some domain name searches, I think they are part of the ews-design and unifiednames.com issues of the past.

I have filed a police report and am working with the Attornet General. They messed with the wrong person this time. I am not out to recoup my money - I am out for justice.

I am a technology / security columnist / ex-lobbyist - this really irritates me since it hits home. ID theft starts small - like a fraudulent charge for $ 9.95 - this way they know they have the correct info. It is a shame that so many people let these things drop.
