Dental Program is a complete ripoff while instructors make your life miserable. The instructors, managers and directors of this program click together and gossip about their students

I am currently a dental student at the Kaplan College, Palm Springs, CA campus. I can tell you that the experience has been completely egregious, as well as painstakingly horrific. I am a graduate of the Medical Practice Management Associates degree program at Kaplan too.

After graduating in December of career services has failed to come up with job opportunities in my field.interestingly before signing on the bottom line they were adamant there were plenty of jobs in the field. Therefore, I took out the loans.

In May after becoming weary of job searching I once again registered at Kaplan. This time in the dental program at Kaplan thinking that would strengthen my chances at employment. I am now 1-1/2 months from graduating and am losing my mind because of the disgraceful way I am treated. I am treated like a prison-mate by the instructor, and the manager of the program. The environment is hostile and it's obvious there's bad will against me by management and the instructor. I am bullied by a drug addict in the class as well. I have complained to the instructor and the manager of the program, and ironically I get the finger pointed back at me and they take the bully's side.

I am an honor student who comes in every day on time. I am conscientious while the bully does and says whatever she likes, shows up when she likes, doesn't get her assignments in on time, and is not an honor student. She is given favoritism, yet they deny it and try to brainwash me that it's my fault and I should have compassion for her problems. Her drug addiction supposedly legitimizes her threatening me, screaming at me, calling me at home and on my cell screaming vulgarities. And, I should also realize she's sensitive. This is what management tells me when I complain about feeling unsafe in their accommodations. My nerves are shot, I'm sick, frustrated, and at the end of my rope. I do not where to turn or what to do. I would even go as far as to say the manager of the program and the instructor are bullies too.

I could go on with the abusive behavior Kaplan continuously subjects me to.
