Ripoff

On 3/3/03 my wife and I purchased the NADN and 2 mallforall businesses. The NADN was a 30 day trial period service product guarantying that they would reveiw the last 3 yrs of tax returns with in one week of submittal. Needless to say, after we submitted the documents within 5 days of signup they, in turn, did not deliver.

As of 29 days post-sign up no phonecall from them and no results of their marketing pitch. I was able to get through, with hardship, and spoke to a nasty NADN customer service person. I finally obtained a return authorization number and send back the mateiralls via registered mail (trackable). Eventually, the credit did come through on our credit card statement. With regard to the 2 Mallforall Business that we paid $2,995 each, we were not so lucky.

At the time of phone purchase, we specifically asked if we could change our mind on the purchase after review of whatever the written materials were, such as specific wording of ontract and prolmisary note, etc. The NADN salesperson assured me that this was NOT A PROBLEM. We did not get the paperwork until 4/22/03 at which time I read same and called to cancel. I was speciffcally given the NADN salesman "personal phone number" if we had any questions. I never was able get him on the phone and nobody form NADN ever called back.

Finally on 5/8/03, As directed by a NADN customer service person, I faxed my desire to cancel to NADN. I then received a call form BRETT SHAFER-NADN COMPLIANCE DEPARTMENT, who laughingly and rudely informed me that I had to cancel after 3 days of verbally agreeing to purchase the 2 Mallforall Businesses units. I feel like an idiot for being taken, but more than the $6000 that I lost now I will be responsible for paying off, with accrued interest, the 2, $7000 promisary notes in 7 years time. What to Do?

I like the idea (and will do it) of each of us getting a listing of our professional identification numbers for the malforall websites.

I have not claimed the tax credit on my tax return and am not sure what to do? As others have noted, the IRS states this is not a legal tax credit. If that is the case than are the promisary notes enforceable by ORYAN MANAGEMENT? Already losing $6000 is bad enough, but another $14,000 plus interest—I can't let that happen. Any thoughts???
