Rebate ripoff claimed requirements no met

Purchased Norton Internet Security with a $30.00 rebate offer. Complied with requirements exactly. Sent Proof of purchase, dated sales receipt, and original CD from previous version. Made copies of all paperwork, sent all in one package to address on rebate form.

Exactly four weeks later received postcard, saying I did not have a valid proof of previous purchase. Called them on the toll free number, lady said they did not receive any CD. If they received the paperwork they received the CD.

E-mailed them, told them they did receive everything required on the rebate form. And told them that they had lost me as a customer, and that I would be sure to tell everyone I could about the way they handle their rebates.

Had I known before this, that Symantec was this type of a company, I never would have done business with them. They are a big ripoff company who does not care about their customers.
