Outrageous Bank Fees, Overlimit Fees, Late Charges, Interest Rates skyrocket whithin a blink of your eye

Wells Fargo Bank Credit Card Services makes a very wealthy living off of charging their long term customers Fees ranging from $35 to $75 a pop. Their interst rates seem to rise unexpectedly out of nowhere making it impossible to get your account down. If you go over the credit line limit they charge you a $75 Fee and then add your interest to this and then reguire you to pay to seperate payment amount.

Then when you call to find out what the hck happened, they transfer you to collections and begin to interrogate you over $20. A customer mind you who has never been late in about 10 years, which would be myself. After being harrassed by collections when all I wanted to do was talk to someone about the interest rate I was receiving and to have it lowered I was verbally threatened over the phone and told I would begin receiving collection calls for the $20.

I explained from the start I would pay their fees plus the usual monthly payment as soon as I recvd my statement. This was not good enough for the girl who seemed to be having a very bad day. I tried asking her about lowering my interest rate and said that was not her problem and I needed to contact a debt consolidating company. What for? This is not where I was headed.

The next month I mail my payment on time, they decide to post it the day after the due date and charge my another $35 late fee. My interest rates have gone up again and so has my minimum payment. For the majority of us, we use our cards because we are all not rich. If we were there would be no need for credit cards. So why must the good consumer continuously get screwed over by these banks trying to make some cash to make up for the ones who aren't able to pay their bills. That is a seperate issue in which we should not be punished for. Enough with the outrageous bank fees. They'll tell you the computer did it, well then who is the moron behind the computer programming it to screw the good customers.

If Wells Fargo had a bone of customer service in them, maybe we all wouldn't be scrambling like crazy to find another bank or credit service that offers not to screw us. I say close your account, all of them with Wells Fargo, and run as fast as you can to a bank like Washington Mutual who still hasn't gotten to big for their own good and actually pays attention to their customers, not the computer as their scapegoat.
