John Orr (course advisor) Sold me a scam course which is not even recognised by. I.E. City and Guilds as they state in their endorsements., Internet

I was sold a course by a man claiming I had showed interest on the internet in a plumbing course and was asked for a payment upfront which I gave him before subsequently finding through various sources this was a scam to deceive people and initially was impressed. However in due course I was not given a copy of the cancellation document The law as I believe is also when you agree to a contract in the home then you are given a cancellation copy at the same time. I did not receive any such document. Failure to do so is a criminal offence and make the agreement unenforceable. It does not matter whether the visit is one that you have requested yourself or whether it is unsolicited.

In conclusion they should be stopped from trading as they had everything to gain from not allowing me the luxury of cancellation and is the same for all other people I have liaised with who have had similar problems with this company.

P.S. I have been requested by Fife Trading Standards to attend a court case involving a complaint by York Trading Standards and I have happily agreed to this.
