Applied Education

Education & Science

In August I enrolled in several classes at Applied Education. Unfortunately I did not read the refund policy until a few hours later. NO REFUNDS for ANY reason. Now I know why.

The salesman Ron Pearson, made me promises I failed to get in writing, and later those promises were not honored. He told me he tried to get them honored but that the owners, Chuck Kohout and "Dave" would not do so.

The first course Turning Houses was a three day course. During the three days I and my husband were lucky if we got 5 hours of true training... The balance of the time was sent in trying to sell us other products. I complained at the course and expressed my dissatisfaction strongly... But to no avail. They told me all I needed to know was how to get the papers signed and after that to bring the papers to them and they would take care of the rest.

I also signed up for a course entitled Asset Protection. To date this course has not been offered and they refuse to refund my money. On top of that... My original invoiced was not itemized... However... When I disputed the cost they somehow presented an itemized signed receipt... Looking nothing like the copy I had. Their manner of doing business is not in the interest of their students or of fairness.

I have repeatedly asked for a refund and expressed my dissatisfaction to no avail.

So, Caveat emptor... Buyer Beware. Be sure you know exactly what they are going to give you and what their refund policy is and what your recourse is if they don't deliver.
