BEWARE OF CLOSE COMBAT TRAINING SALES OFFERSIf you are considering the purchase of the Close Combat Training course DVDs from closecombattraining.com, my advice is DONT!!!

The website invites you to add these materials to the shopping cart for $297 $89.97 implying that the regular price is the $297 price which is crossed out. If you do not accept this offer and attempt to leave, a notice appears with the further invitation Dont Leave Yet... Followed by the comment that Were so confident that Close Combat Training is everything youve been searching for that well knock $30 off the price for TODAY ONLY and further that This one-time offer will disappear in: [a timer is next with a second-by-second countdown from a minute or so] Then there is the statement Regular Price $89.97 Today $59! Add to Cart and finally, the statement that *This is a one-time marketing test discount offer. Package includes everything found within the full Close Combat Training course and includes all bonuses.

I accepted the $59 offer and received the DVDs. I found the content good and was pleased with them UNTIL I discovered that my credit card had been charged a whopping US$410.97 [AUD514.68] in total, as follows:

1. Close Combat Training - AU$149.96 [US$119.97]2. Escape Combatives - AU$121.24 [US$97.00]3. Scientific Self Defense - AU$121.24 [US$97.00]4.15 Minute Hell - AU$121.24 [US$97.00]

Clearly, in the final sentence of the quoted material above, it states that the Package includes everything found within the full Close Combat Training course and includes all bonuses. So how did $59 become $410.97?

This is how: From the last reply from the company:... We have confirmed your Close Combat account and data.

Per your request - we have confirmed you had selected 4 separate programs.

1. Close Combat Training - $119.97

If returning the: 2. Escape Combatives - $973. Scientific Self Defense-$974.15 Minute Hell-$97

These are separate programs added to the Close Combat Training program and work in sequence with each other.

Let me say that I did NOT select 4 separate programs. I merely clicked to ADD TO THE CART the above quoted offer. There was no information about separate programs. I believe the Company is dishonest and out to deceive, so finally, after a long thread of emails between myself and Close Combat Training, I am exasperated and just want to let others know that they are, in my opinion, at risk of being ripped off.
