I wish I had done more homework! I am an esthetician by trade, and wanted to learn more about the make-up artist industry. I chose this "school" because it is the only school that comes to Dallas, TX., and is affordable. However, the first day I knew I had made a mistake. The owner/instructor doesn't know anything about skin care, let alone about makeup artistry! If you try and google her company, you won't find very much information, because she has changed her name so many times! The "kit" you get is SO inferior! She doesn't even give ANY handouts on the information presented! You have to handwrite everything she shows on her powerpoint. She talks incessantly about herself!!! You will pay over $400.00 per day to listen to HER problems! She needs to be stopped! I am so upset that I did not do my homework and check out this so called "academy"! I am going to try to get my money back. If anyone wants to become a professional make up artist, go to a reputable school. If anyone has participated in Bren Marie's "school", please email me or let someone else know so she can be stopped! She is taking everyone's money, and delivers nothing in return!!!
