Poor Education / Training in Dental Hygiene program

I graduated from Argosy University - Twin Cities' Dental Health plan in 2006 and that I still feel forced to alert prospective candidates about how badly run this program is. I'm observing a number of other grievances that Argosy University is only a "for profit" degree work, and I am scared I've to accept that. Our plan price right around $60,000 for 5 semesters of subpar training. I also provide a bachelor's-degree from the conventional 4-year university and that I was surprised from the distinction within the quality of training I obtained at Argosy vs. The 4-year college. Our friends and that I sensed the teachers in the college didn't worry about us as people or did they worry about our special learning requirements. But maybe many concerning of was the low-rate of achievement in moving our panel examinations following the Argosy eduction. Significantly more than 1/3 of my course wasn't ready to move the $1000.00 medical panel examination about the first attempt (100% of the pupils in the College of MNis RDH plan handed the very first time). Had our training been sufficient, there should not have now been any reason behind pupils not to move this examination. Upon reading this information, the Argosy teachers were not even close to thoughtful and just agreed to assist pupils enhance their abilities to get a significant charge of $1300.00. The pupils chosen to prevent any more connection with Argosy and really wanted out remedial aid from an entirely various dental health plan who had been significantly more than pleased to assist them to get a significantly smaller charge. Since I'm an used RDH, I actually do observe that Argosy includes a bad status locally. Furthermore, I actually donot experience I had been sufficiently prepared for my career and needed to perform a ton "at that moment" understanding when I began might work. Even today, I actually donot feel my abilities are as sharp-as my acquaintances who'd instruction elsewhere. I are usually a "glass-half complete" person, but want to assist others in this instance. I don't suggest Argosy University to anybody. Pupil/buyer beware!!
