Beverly Karshner Refused to pay for services rendered

I was hired by the Notter School to perform QuickBooks services, in which I am fully versed and Certified to perform. Beverly Karshner, a Co-Owner, requested that I assist with inputting data into the Fame software system because of time constrictions and working to get things done for the accreditation process through which they are applying. Beverly was fully aware I had never worked on Fame and that Yvonne, her personal assistant, would show me. Beverly stressed that there could be no mistakes. I understood that.in good faith, I inputted data into Fame. As an example, Fame does not allow payment entries to be made prior to the class beginning date. I informed Beverly of that and she stated, Thats ok, just get them in. There were some postings done in error, to which I reversed them as posted in error, a function preset in Fame. As in accounting, that would be an adjusting journal entry and a purely acceptable means of correction. It is not a mistake or error that was left uncorrected.
In addition, when Beverly discovered my corrected errors on October 21, she berated me in an open air office with five others able to openly hear and see the entire scene. That is highly unprofessional and harassment in every manner of the term.
All work performed by myself was done in good faith, with no malicious intent. I do not believe I performed any errors in Fame or QuickBooks that could not be corrected with an adjusting entry.
I sent certified receipt letters to both Beverly Karshner and Chef Ewald Notter demanding full payment of the enclosed invoice, for $1035, within 5 business days of receipt of this letter. They never responded or sent payment. Thus I am publishing that the Nottter School of Pastry Arts have poor business ethics and do not pay vendors for services rendered.
