Urban Land Institute is a total joke. I signed up for two workshops and could only attend one. I requested a refund immediately and they denied it saying they would give me a credit for a future workshop. I explained to them i didn't want to attend another workshop and i only wanted my money back. Basically they told me it's their money and that's the policy.

So any ULI members or those thinking about being members be careful. This organization is a bunch of money grabbing parasites. They do not give a damn about their members, the education process, or the communities they try to improve. ULI is about one thing... Money. Their MO is selling over priced books and over priced seminars to the members who pay too much to belong to this bogus organization inthe first place. Do not even join. You are better off with other groups.
