Fingerhut from what I heard is a closed down company. They will try to get every dime they can out of you by charging outrageous interest rates and fees.
Try calling their 800 # and you will get no one. Axsis National Bank is only accepting payments from people who owe balances and from what I understand will not help out anyone. They will act like they don't know anything except to accept payments.
Beware... I've been told the interest rates keep going up and up with these people.
