Made me feel like i was raped. They took my debit card number and charged amounts to it over and over again without permission

I made the horrible mistake of responding to an internet offer for a free DVD when you buy one at regular price. Yeah, right.

Since I got it off the internet, I had to give them a card #. Little did I know, they were going to use it over and over again.

Now, I wasn't the type of person to pour over bank statements, I'm busy, like I'm sure all of you are. I got 2 "selection cards" from Columbia since January of this year. They were sent back in the time frame requested and advised that I didn't want their featured selection. I assumed that was the end of that. I never got a DVD.

So then I get this letter, saying that due our past purchases I was now entitled to a free DVD at no charge! What?! I thought, I haven't purchased anything. So I go back over my past bank statements, and there it is. Charge, after charge.

So I call my bank, and they tell me their isn't anything that they can really do except cancell my current card and get me a new one. So not only am I out the money they charged me, I don't have any of the DVD's they supposedly sent me (that I supposedly bought), but now I have to take off work and loose more money to go to my bank to sign papers to get a new card.

Columbia House, You are the WORST kind of criminal out there. You pray on the unsuspecting consumer who only wants to enjoy your service. However, you have no service. No phone #, no way to contact you. You rip our dignity from us, drive us crazy trying to get a hold of you to cancell this "membership", and leave us laying in the dirt as you laugh all the way to the bank.

Well just so you know. My bank has a firm that investigates crooks like you. Even if they can't get my money back, I'll tell everyone that I can about you. You should have to be a registered offender with a sign in front of your office. That is, if you really have an office. YOU SUCK!!!

I have one word of advice for all you consumers out there. Don't give them your credit or debit card, you'll be sorry.
