Deceitful Advertisement results in Shocking Charges to our Bank Acct.!

My husband heard Armando's Advertisement on Radio. They stated for $9.95 he could get Armando's CD's on Flipping Houses, so he called and gave them his Bank card # to purchase.

A box comes in the mail soon after.
My husband runs a business and that month his mom died and we had to go out of town, so he wasn't available mentally to open the box.

I opened it 1.5 months later, cause I took notice of suspicious charges to one of our accts. Two charges for $29.95 from what seemed to be from two different divisions belonging to Armando and the other for $75.73. I thought surely this was a mistake and called their customer #.

My husband did not have the time like I did to wait 30 or 40 mins that I did to talk to customer service. The lady informed me that my husband had mistaken the price for the C.D.'s for the Shipping & Handling price of $9.95.

The lady proceeds to tell me the actual price for the CD's was $475.95, at this point I lost my breath and about... Went into shock! I thought she must be used to this... (occasionally she'd be talking & laughing w/someone next to her during my call). My husband adamantly insists this price was not told on the radio or divulged by the person who he talked to on the phone to put the order in!

The lady said one monthly charge of $29.95 was for online coaching and the other monthly charge of $29.95 was for Finding property deals.com and the $75.73 was a monthly charge to be billed till the $475.95 was paid in full for the CD's my husband ordered!

Mind you, the box had other things included that he did not ask for or want!
A letter was in the box, stating he had 30 days in which to return and cancel future installments. The lady said it was too late for us to return the box w/its contents to cancel, cause it was over 30 days. She did say she'd cancelled our two products & services for $29.95/mo. & she would deduct one pymt. Of $69.96 to bring our balance for the CD's down to 300 dollars (rough estimate) I was too upset to remember exact cost! She also offered to lower monthly payments from $75.73 to $30.00 a month to make it easier for us to continue payments.

To be continued... My husband refuses to except this fraud that has been perpetrated on him... He is going to make time to contact them and call himself! $300.00 is alot of money to pay for CD's you thought were only $9.95!!
