False credentials

I finished a medical transcription program and was recommended from the college personel to pay for the charge and consider the CMT (Licensed Medical Transcription) examination. I handed the examination and obtained my CMT Credential a couple weeks later via USPS. Soon after giving out numerous resumes I had been educated by possible companies the credential I'd obtained through The National Healthcareer Association was bogus; it's not acknowledged within the state-of Iowa or could it be acknowledged within the health business.

There's just one CMT credential which could just be acquired through The Organization for Health Certification Ethics. To sit down for that CMT examination, you'll need atleast 2 yrs of acute-care expertise employed in a number of areas.
