College of Saint Scholastica
Worst College EVER Why bother with this school?

It's been a long time since I've been there. That doesn't mean that I don't remember it as if it was yesterday. I remember being unhappy there for two years.

I started at the College of Saint Scholastica in the fall of 2003. It was there that many things that I didn't like started. The first thing was that we had to share our school with nuns. Now I have nothing against nuns, but I'm not now, nor have I ever been Catholic. I feel that this enforced their religious beliefs on their students. They gave us their word that they wouldn't do this but that is what their word was worth, nothing.

Your RA tried to make you go to bed at night, but no one ever did. The other thing was how strict they were about the opposite sex being in your room after a certain time. Anyone and everyone broke this rule, and only got caught sometimes.in the dorms in was really segregated for men and women, men didn't live in the same section as women in the dorms. What are we 5 years old?

The teachers seemed more concerned with people's personal lives then with the classroom. We even had a teacher who threatened to rip off people's limbs. That was scary and I never wanted to go back to her classroom again.

The staff loved hearsay and would yell at you if you started to act a different way. They thought that they knew you better than you knew yourself. This is absurd, because they haven't been here for your entire life but they were under they impression they were.

The countless times I was taken aside and accused of things that never happened. I don't understand this at all, and am still confused to this day. I thought college was a time to find yourself, so what if I act differently then I used to? I've been to other schools since then and they encouraged you to change.

It was so weird all the teachers talked about with each other was you. Your personal life was the topic of conversation at all their meetings. This is not professional in any way.

If you knew something and they didn't know what it was they assumed things. I got accused of being raciest once when I talked about something that had nothing to do with race. I was very confused.

I could go on for days, but I'm not going to because you see that this was a very bad idea on my part. So don't go to this school and you'll be better off.
