University Of Phoenix
Overcharged and sent me to collections without trying to work with. No customer service

I originally attempted to go to a community college. They were not very helpful to show me how one is to attend college. I then contacted University of Phoenix. WOW! They were excited and very willing to assist me immediately. I had a appt. On a tuesday and the following week on thursday night I was in a physical class.

Now keep in mind the physical location i attended from December to january had some wonderful employees and some awesome instructors, at least the ones i came in contact with. Mind you my classes where paid thru Dec and after being in a CAR WRECK IN JANUARY. I tryed to attend a couple of classes and couldnt...

These fools have now charged me for classes i have yet to attend about $5,000.00 in fees... BS of course. I contacted the collections dept. And a very uneducated girl was my account manager, LOL. She managed only one thing for her company and that was to drive me away! It may be on my credit, but they didnt get the money or we didnt come to any settlement. Education to me at 42 yrs. Old is really not a huge thing. But, that company did not retain a customer/student that they could have if she would've taken the time to explain to me WHY they think I owe for classes i havent attended! At this point I do see why they were so quick to enroll me...

I do not and will not recommend the University of Phoenix because of the end result... They are not out for your well being only to rip you off or screw you if you take some time off... Now im trying to go back to another school and they are not releasing my info... Crooks in phoenix. There has to be help for a poor individual... I do not recommend the school... At all
