I know the government has changed education standards due to OBRA where up to 75 hours of training is needed for CNA/GNA certification, but coupled with time management problems with the instructor it can prove to be a disaster and a waste of time for the student. I completed this course where lecture is instructor reading book to you (I can read) and about 10 hours total of skill demonstration for preparation for the board exam. You have to come back on your own time when supervision is available to work with you, while she has another class, HELLO, if it couldn't be done with your own class then chances are you'll have to ruff it with their new class.in my education experience I am finding its best to go to the community colleges. The career schools are all about money they don't care if the student gets what he/she is paying for. I thought when completing a class that requires you to pass certification you suppose to be certification ready even if the test is the next day. And at least with the community colleges you know they will be there versus alot of these schools (diploma mills) setting up getting as much money as they can and a few years down the road they are not in business.
