Ripoff - Porno (censored) Without Shame License to Steal?

I received a bill from Alyon Technologies statining that I owe them about $65.00. It had warnings in red that if I did not pay collection and legal actions would be ensued against me. I send an email to the address on the invoice stating that I have no idea who they are and why they are billing me.

They sent an email back basically telling me that they can bill me, or anyone else for that matter, simply because I have a computer and a phone in my home. Never mind that I don't even own an online account. They proceeded to give me a lengthy narrative about what information on their site I should read, etc.

I am extremely infuriated taht companies can access my personal information, send me a bill and demand that I made payment, without ever providing any service to me.

I thought the law in this country was that to incur any liability you would have to enter into some sort of agreement, usually written, with the person providing a service, and that you would have to in fact receive such a service before becoming financially liable.

And if this is the case, how in God's name can a company just send someone a bill and demand payment without that person even knowing who they are. This is illegal, outrageous, egregious and absolutely ridiculous. What type of system do we have in this country and what is the purpose of the FCC and other State agency organizations when companies can do this and get away with it. I hope the Federal government is taking notice and will do something about this. Thank you for the chance to air my grievances.
