The Acting Corps
After questioning there right to charge extra they dismissed and took full Deposit North Hollywood

I signed up for "The Acting Corps" in March I was informed that I should put a $300 deposit down and that my spot would be reserved for May. I was also informed that my deposit was fully refundable if I decided not to attend. I had family problems come late April and I called back the same representative that helped me in the beginning and he told me that I was not able to be refunded and that the amount was nonrefundable. So I asked him to move my course ahead to the fall. I wanted a class in October but I was later informed that I was actually scheduled for September, which was my mistake and I understand that. So in late August I received an email asking me if I was still planing on attending in September I responded obviously with confusion and told them that I was under the impression that I was starting in October. She said it was no problem and that I could start in October. I had left for Vancouver that day and left my cell phone behind because I did not want a huge surprise bill. When I got home I found a nasty message on my phone from a Lady I will leave unnamed accusing me of being inconsistent and that she was concerned. I did not call her because I had received another email from the same girl I was talking to before asking me if I still planned on attending in October I stated that I was of course still planning. She then told me that they would charge me an additional 200 dollars because I did not attend in September which I had though had been cleared. She told me I needed to call her supervisor which happened to be the same cow that left me the nasty message. I asked if the "Cow" could email me instead because I live in Canada and it is long distance which she later mocked me with.

The next day I received a message from this mean cow telling me that do to not co-operating I was dismissed from the school, and they took all my deposit. So I tried to clarify my position with this cow about how unfair she was being but she kept tip toeing around the reasons and she made a complete embarrassment for herself and the company. I stated several times that I did indeed make a mistake but Jennifer insisted that she made no error in dismissing me so fast and she also clarified for me the difference between a customer and a student so basically students at the acting corps do not have the same rights as customers do.

In the end I am so disappointing and angry with the "The Acting Corps" that I am just going to make sure I tell everyone how irresponsible they are with people and they basically just want your money! They do not care about the students.
