No financial aid for more than two dissertation classes, throw away almost $90,000 no degree

I entered UOPHX Online as a declared ADA student with brain injuries. They said no problem, financial aid will cover a reader and writer. It did not. Luckly my Rez started an education project for part of the time, but I still owe $65,000 in student loans for what is now a collection notice on funds sent back because when I ASKED more than once, I was not told that I needed to file a leave of absence request until I could raise the next $2000 since they would not accept the Citibank loan for those classes.

I know two other students that both got these extended loans.

I just feel upset and harmed beyond belief.

I have a 3.52, even with problems with writing, not being able to afford a reader and writer.

I was told apply for scholarships, there are none, all the things I applied for ever got me was emails that said "try for a $10,000 scholarship" within minutes I got calls, calls, calls, and within days, letters, letters, letters from UOPHX itself, and other schools to see if I wanted to enroll. What a waste.

My advisor and my professors were great, I hope they can work this out, but reading here, I at least feel better after the rude and mean way I was treated by the financial aid department.

I think they need a survey of all those who have not finished, and they need to put something in place to help them.

I just feel like UOPHX got their bucks, now they have no use for me, and are not going to help me finish. I cannot get paid for the work with Racial Tension and Gang Abatement projects I designed and have done, paying with my Social Security check because I think we need a safer and better world.
