Charged me for items on my charge card statement I know nothing about

Received my Bank of America charge statement and there were two charges on it I did not recognize. Called the phone number listed beside the name and spoke to a Tom with a heavy oriental accent. He asked my name and proceeded to rattle on about how I got a CD and a monthly bulletin. I told him I am 84 years old and have no interest in working at home. He insisted I ordered this material and refused to issue a credit. I asked to speak to his supervisor and he turned me over to a person he called Kim, but her name ended up as being Chelsea.

I explained everything to Chelsea all over again and she also refused to credit the charges. She said she would cancel the account but I would have to pay for the $1.95 and $39.90 on my statement. I told her I was going to report them to the Better Business Bureau and my attorney. She was very arrogant and told me I would be wasting my time and hung up.

I then called Bank of America and spoke to a Janis. She told me that they had already been paid which is unfortunate. Once the item appears on your statement it is after the fact and the payment has already been made. She told me to deduct the amounts from my payment for the time being and she would put the amounts into dispute.

I am still going to notify my local Better Business Bureau and whomever I feel can help this situation.
