Demanding

Wyndham Professionals called and told me I had 10 days to sign an agreement with them to pay off a debt or they were going to garnish my wages and they would take 450 dollars a month out of my pay. I only make $3000 a month and have more than that in bills. So they said if I put $500 dollars down and than paid $350.00 a month for 9 months that would take stop the garnishment and take it off my credit report. What hard working person can afford that in this economy. I wouldn't be able to put food on the table or buy gas for my car if I paid that. I told the gentlemen that if they were going to garnish my wages that I would just quit my job, because I would lose my house and car anyway. Does anyone know anything about this company? I would appreciate any input.
