Poetry.com a scam! Owings Mills, Maryland

This is for everybody who has been scammed by these criminals. My girlfriend submitted a poem to them early Jan. She then received a letter in the mail saying that she had been selected to be a semi-finalist and that she was to be published in the book, "Immortal Verses" and that the book would be out in spring of 2008.
She did not have to buy this book, but of course we did because we wanted to see her poem in this book. We spent the $49.95 for the pre-sale purchase price and then an additional $25 for a bio about her to be next to her page.

It is now April and we still haven't recieved the book, and on their website the book is said to be released winter of 2006!!!

I have tried to contact them at the # that they posted on their website, but whenever I call all it says is that they are closed and to call back when they are open.

These criminals need to be prosectuted for every body who has believed that they were being published and that they will be receiving books with their poems in it. Unfortunatley it is to late for us, but maybe we can stop this from happening to anyone else in the future.
Also, we are hoping to be taking legal action against them to stop these criminalistic tactics that they chose to use. Thanks for your time in reading this rant.
