A mild warning: I received a congratulatory letter from a Karin Kovasec in the mail this afternoon, informing me of a $42K winning total and an enclosed check in the amount of $2,800 to "enable [me] to pay for the processing/administration fees without undue financial difficulties." It sounded too good to be true, so after hopping online here and seeing that others have been taken for a ride by a similar method, I thought a warning report like this may help others who are rather skeptical in such matters.
Needless to say, these two items get added to the "shred" pile...
