Buyer beware! Sold two puppies w/o proper vaccinations that died from Parvovirus - SCAM ARTIST!

In January I purchased two Silky Terriers from Breeder Mike Cox at Willow Branch Kennel. I picked up 8 month old Diego & 10 week old Dolly at the Philadelphia Airport Monday January 21st & that Thursday night January 24th Diego became very ill. So the next morning Friday January 25th I took him to the Vet & he was hospitalized with Parvovirus - suffered the entire weekend & passed away Sunday January 27th during the evening. Dolly was then hospitalized Tuesday January 29th with the same virus & died Friday February 1st.

My Vet clearly said these puppies didn't have a fighting chance because of the lack of the correct amount of vaccinations. My Vet also went as far as contacting the manufacturer of the drug & the manufacturer will not back the breeder because Dolly was given half the dose of the vaccinations & Diego wasn't given enough for his age.

Diego didn't even look like the dog I bought - he was neglected! His hair was filthy & straggly. He had ear mites & my Vet said his teeth were so decayed for an 8 month old dog that it was signs of malnurishment. Dolly showed up with worms & an abcess on her right side due to a vaccination.

Included in their rusty travel crate when I picked them up were suppose to be their vaccination records but I only received double records of Diego's & didn't get Dolly's from Mike who I contacted several times until the day she died.

I kept Mike informed from the time I picked up the puppies at the airport & thru this horrible ordeal - which he has denied. I also had a necropsy on Diego & Dolly which Mike requested from a state lab & it proves Parvovirus.

I believe this Kennel is a Puppy Mill & needs to be inspected - if necessary Mike should lose his license permanently. If this was done to Diego & Dolly he must be doing this to his other puppies.

This was not only anguish & heartbreak for me but a big financial loss. I had to tear up all my carpeting, clorox everything & throw away all items Diego & Dolly came in contact with because Parvo doesn't die. At this time my other Silky Isabella was 10 months old but fortunately had the proper shots & did not become ill.

The problem here is Mike's poor attitude & how he refuses to accept responsibility for this situation he created. He told me that I killed Diego & Dolly & they would still be alive if it wasn't for me. & that if he would have known this was going to happen I would never have gotten one of his puppies let alone two. Also that they picked up the Parvo at the Airport.

I wrote a negative review on Puppy Find but Mike had it takin off. & when I contacted Puppy find they said due to the the abuse of the review system such as fake reviews & breeders bashing breeders they have no choice but to allow the sellers to delete what they feel are invalid reviews. Now doesn't that defeat the purpose!!!

Mike Cox is a Scam Artist who doesn't care about these animals. He has a contract that basically protects himself when it comes to any illness or disease then doesn't give his puppies the proper vaccinations & will sell them. So he's not liable & everybody else is left ripped off.

I am only trying to prevent this nightmare from happening to another innocent buyer.
