Customer No-Service

We recently paid our LTD bill online. Our conformation dated 2/19/08 showed all information to be correct. On 2/25/08 we received an email stating that out check had been returned for the following reason "other". We made several phone calls to customer NO service and to Automated Recovery Solutions (ARS) all of which were a waste of time. These people were less than useless. Our emails to the company were answered with an automated message with no responce to the problem.

Finally we received a letter requesting payment on the account plus $30.00 for the returned check. A careful review of the 2/25/08 notice of returned check showed that the company had typed my account number in place of my actual check number. Clearly a mistake on their part.

I called the number on the letter and the woman in accounting would not admit any wrongdoing on LTD's part and insisted we pay the $30.00 penality. I sent payment for the original bill amount and Miss Helen Wait will be sending the $30.00. I will never do business with these people again. There are many other companies that appreciate a good customer and know the meaning of customer service.
