Wells Fargo Home Mortgage
Foreclosing when we are already in Shortsale process, then dragging their feet for months Milwaukee Wisconsin

Education & Science

I got a job transfer from Washington D.C. To Indiana and Wells Fargo was contacted months before, and notified of my transfer and the reduction in salary. Trish Kubiak (414) 214-4633 out of Milwaukee, Wisoncsin with Wells Fargo stated time and time again that they could not do anything for us unless we were delinquent on out mortgage which we had never been before. We sent hardship letters explaining our situation in further detail and they still said they could not help us unless we re late on our payment. We placed our home on the market, and ended up selling our cars to pay the mortgage until the house sold, assuming that, that would occur within 6 months.

However, it did not work out that way, by July we ran out of money and things to sell. I was in training in a different state and I explained to Wells Fargo that I would be receiving a reduction in pay while I was in training and they still said they could not do anything for us. We finally got an offer in August for a Short sale. The person responsible for negotiating our short sale through Wells Fargo was Brian Rittler telephone number: (414) 214-4625 out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

In October the process was still going on (more than 2 months) we received a letter from Wells Fargo stating they were placing us in foreclosure... Again, this is while we were in short sale, We were told that by Wells Fargo themselves that there was no record in their system of us being in a short sale process and from their records we had not contacted them for several months.

At which point we faxed them numerous documents from their shortsale office in Milwaukee with dates and names as well as which transactions were taking place at those particular times. That was when their stories started to change, now when we call there is no record of us being in a short sale at all last fall, even though we have documentation of us being in a shortsale. Nonetheless, that deal fell through and no one can explain why. So I went on a repayment plan of $3,800 per month for the next 6 months (funny how the repayment plan is higher than the regular mortgage was).
I took nearly $15,000 from my retirement account to pay this plan. We owe around $425,000 on our home in the Washington DC area, and now we are back in a short sale process and then they placed us in foreclosure proceedings yet again, with their customer service representatives talking down to me like I am some piece of trash and telling us how our house already has a sale date scheduled, and of course I would call them on it, because I knew that wells Fargo uses Samuel P.C. White to do the foreclosures so we would log onto their website and see the sale dates of homes they have in foreclosure and while on the phone with Wells Fargo they would just tell us that their system says we had a sale date of such and such date.

All Lies all the time that is Wells Fargo Customer Service with their scare tactics and trying to instill fear into people, however in this case it does not work and it is beginning to backfire on them because we are willing to take this all the way, we have made sure we have kept a timeline of events from last March until today March of names, dates and all that stuff what happened, who we spoke with, the entire mess.

So anyways, back to the fact I am in shortsale again, In January we placed our home back on the market for $299,900, the next day we had our first offer for $300,000 later the next day we got an offer $305,000, and the following week we got an offer for $307,000. The offer for $300,000 had many contingencies, the latter two offers were obviously higher offers and neither of them had contingencies, they wanted the house as-is and they wanted to close as soon as possible. So we have been doing this whole process again since January til today which is 3/11 and we still do not have a decision from Wells fargo, the Home Mortgage Insurance Company for Wells Fargo called us and they told us 3 weeks ago (I have documentation of everything I say right now) and gave their blessing and they do not understand why Wells fargo is taking so long with this.
The Wells Fargo negotiator for Short sales in our case is: Davida Zollicoffer her telephone number is: (414) 214-4804 out of Milwaukee, Wisoncsin. Trying to get ahold of her on the telephone is about as hard as trying to milk a bull if you get my drift. Constantly, her voicemail box is full, or her phone does not even ring, so one can not even leave her a message or anything. So I would call Customer Service and have them shoot an email to Davida to have her clear up her voicemail box. Sometimes that works sometimes that doesn't. Davida will call and say she doesn't have something like the listing agreement or the HUD-1 when we sent everything she requested as a package both via certified mail as well as fax at least a half a dozen times (and yes I even have confirmation and receipts of this, half a dozen times is not an exxageration), it is to the point now that my wife is the person who talks to Wells Fargo on the phone, because I do not have the patience to deal with such incompitence or disrespectful individuals.
As a military Veteran and career Government service employee I am astonished that a company as big as Wells Fargo is not organized or professional. I can say with the utmost certainty I will NEVER do business with this company and neither will any of my friends and family who have already refinanced their loans to banks with guarantees that no one else can buy their loan. If anyone needs the names or telephone numbers for any of the other Shortsale negotiators reply to this post and I will post the 19 numbers I have just for the negotiators. God Bless!
