Sends out packing tape that was not ordered and charges over double the value

This company makes cold calls to your place of business. They find out the name of someone in your shipping department and use that name as a verbal order to ship tape to your location. They charge over twice the fair market value for this tape plus shipping.

By the tiem we received an invoice to discover what happened, our assembly operation had already used the product.

The person at Standard that I spoke to was very rude-even yelling at times. I refused to pay for the invoice at the elevated prices and they finally faxed an invoice at the price of my regular supplier.
