Faulty loan records!

I repaid my university student loan in one single lumpsum fee inside the first-year after I finished and before any attention was due. 6 years later when my credit history was drawn i purchase to be eligible for a house mortgage, it confirmed the loan as NOT compensated and accumulating interest! Since that time, I've maintained an attorney, posted copies of the initial canceled check in addition to all relevant paperwork and also the US Department of Training hasn't fixed this mistake. Of Knowledge Direct Loans people; they can't do something till they correct the mistake.

1.) Be sure you conserve all your mortgage agreements.

2. Be sure you save copies of canceled checks / funds that you simply create PERMANENTLY.

3. Do not take financing in the US Department of Training/Direct Loans. It isn't worth the "price" you'll purchase the remainder of one's lifestyle...
