Camco
Collects money owed on credit cards and does not pay creditors california natiownwide

I had a credit card with nextcard in 2001. I settled with a company called camco and thought that this was all taken care of. Recently i applied for a loan and was denied because nextcard charges are appearing on my credit report. Unfortunately, camco no longer exists and i cannot call them.

I called nextcard at 877-875-8078 and was directed to a company called platinum recovery at 1-800-933-7301. They then told me to call 1-866-290-9235 where all i got was an automated message. If anyone out there knows how i can get in touch with someone and clear this up, i would be greatful.
