Leads are a scam

I was contacted by mortgagelenders.cc in January to buy confirmed leads from them. They told me that all leads were called and verified as to the fact that the lead was real, phone numbers, and were made aware that I would be calling. I was to receive 165 leads for $4800. I also was told that I must pay in a cashier's check or wire. I could not use a credit card.

I started downloading leads within a few days and was immediately struck by the fact that nobody I spoke to had been contacted by anybody at mortgagelenders.cc. There were also many leads without a good phone number so they obviously couldn't have been contacted. Also, most of the people I spoke to were not in the market for a mortgage. When I made mortgagelenders aware of this, they made all kinds of excuses. I asked for my money back and was refused. Needless to say, after approximately 100 leads over the last year, I have not closed a single loan.

This company is a fraud and filled with liars. I am surprised they have not closed down by the State of Florida. Unless you feel the need to throw a few thousand dollars down the drain, do not do business with them.
