An unsolicited sales call was received from this company offering a CD-Rom package of a tradeshow directory. A few days later a package shows up at our company. This package was never opened or installed. This product was returned to the Trade Show Data Center in June.

In about one month we received an invoice for $895.95. We attempted to call the company and advised them that the product was returned and what being was sent was not actually was discussed. They then demanded payment saying that the 15 day review period had expired and we were now obligated to pay for the returned materials.

We spoke with a Nancy, who became very belligerent over the phone and threatened to take legal action against the company if we did not pay the invoice. When we asked to speak with Nancy's supervisor, she refused. We then wrote 3 letters to this company explaining the situation. No one has responded.

In 2007 we started to receive phone calls and faxes to our business from a company calling themselves commercial debt recovery services. They too are very rude on the telephone and want us to pay the account in full or make payments by phone until the balance is paid. They too have threatened to seek an attorney and sue our business.

Now, in 2008 this is a constant bother almost daily. They call and fax constantly. Just today I did some research on these companies and have found that they are both to be fraudulent. I looked at usacomplaints.com and on the BBB site. This is a constant bother to our company and is slowing our work production with handling these calls. We have told them numerous times to stop calling, stop faxing and that we wanted to be removed from their companies list.

I will be filing formal complaints with the New York A.G.'s office, the BBB, consumer complaints, and any other agency that I need to.
