American Leisure And Easy Saver

I placed an order with Direct Alternatives, "Pur-Hoodia Plus", PO Box 167, Portland ME 04112. Phone no. (800-605-1663) on 10 Sep 07. During my placement of the order, apparently they have now informed me that I agreed to this contract with American Leisure (877-564-8538 MD) and Easy Saver (800-262-6199 MD). I started receiving billings on a monthly basis in the amount of $16.95 per company/business. I have never received a package or any mailings from either of these companies indicating that I have an agreement/contract with them.
I called American Leisure using the phone number listed above on 28 Jan 08 requesting information on these billings. According to "Lexine" I told her that I had never received any information from American Leisure and would she please cancel any and all so called contract (s) that I have with them. I asked her to explain exactly what I had been being charged for. What kind of benifits, discounts, etc.
She could not explain, but told me to write a letter to Consurmer Affairs, PO Box 280, Blue Ridge Summit, PA 17214 requesting that American Leisure reimburse me for the total amount of $137.60 or send proof that they had shipped me any kind of package to support these charges. While on the phone I asked if she knew anything about Easy Saver and she said that "she handles both companies and would also cancel that 'contract'." She gave me a cancellation confirmation no. LMI012808AM.
I called Pur-Hoodia Plus on 29 Jan 08 requesting that they provide me a play back of the phone conversation with them on the 10th of Sep 07 where I indicated that I had actually agreed to these contracts with American Leisure and Easy Saver. That information is in their archives and will take 24 the 48 hours to get, but they would call me back so I will be able to listen to the recorded conversation.in the meantime I am in limbo waiting to see if I get any results from either Direct Alternatives or American Leisure/Easy Saver.
Have either of these businesses been reported to the Better Business Bureau?
Will appreciate any follow on information regarding the status of subject companies. Thank you for your efforts.
