Barak 013 Internet Service Provider

One gentleman has already complained to consumer complaints about the US-based company called Barak Hosting. My story is about Barak 013 (aka netvision, barak013.com), internet service provider in Israel. You never know, some of you may travel to Israel one day and may need an internet connection.

I called Barak 013 (netvision) and signed up for a 3 day trial of their internet access. Their sales rep heartily promised "cancel any time" and "if you decide not to cancel, you will pay month by month". I repeated to him about 10 times or so that I didn't want any obligations, just to make sure. Then signed up.

Their internet connection kind of sucked, so I called to cancel the next day.
They told me that I had a 6 month obligation to them and if I don't pay they will sue me. They have a "customer suing department" somewhere in Haifa.
(Later I found out that this way of "doing business" is not uncommon in Israel).
Now Barak 013 is busy extorting money from your truly...

So that's the story. Stay away from Barak 013! Barak013 sucks! Netvision sucks! Let the buyer beware!
