After a long and expensive court battle I gave up and took the Domestic Violence classes. I started to go to a private place in Scottsdale but it was on Tuesday afternoon which interfered with my job. I enrolled for a class at JSI facility only because it provided classes on Saturdays.

When I made the appt the administrator told me to sign up as a self referral because I couldn't find my order or case#.

I found the order before going to the appt and brought it with me. I gave it to the counselor and she said I told them I was a self referral on the phone so that is how it stays. They charge $60 for a self referral instead of $30 for a court order.

I took their assesment test and signed up. The counselor was not too bright.

I had been ordered 52 classes so they didn't give me additional.

The counselor failed to tell me that they only accept cash at the class so when I showed up I almost missed the first day because I had a debit card.

I have to report to the court in a different state periodically to show I am attending. I have to bring a progress report with me.

I requested from my group leader who was a differnt person than checked me in and she said she would have it for me on a wed night. I went all the way down there and she looked for it but it wasn't there. I called the next day and they said I had to come in the office during business hours and get it from an admin person. I was there at 8 am sharp but they did not bother to open the door until 8:15. The next time I requested a progress report and took off work again. They did not have it ready.in fact refused to do it until I came in.
It wasn't even a progress report it was a reciept and that was not what the courts asked for and I nealry had to make a second turn around trip out of state.
I pay 20 $ aweek and I would like to know where that money goes.

The bulding is filthy inside and out. Most of the chairs are broken and the paint is all peeled away from the interior. The doors are broken and I have used cleaner resrooms in a port o potty. There is fecal matter many times around the toilet and urine on the floor. Very unsanitary.

I was trying to change the classes to a week night. I called to see what I had to do. The girl told me I had to come in and fill out paper work. I asked what classe were open or available before I took more time out of work in case there weren't any open spots. The girl would not even tell me what days ther were. She said I had to come in and find out. I asked to speak to the Administrator and she hesitated and said she would see if she was available. I was then tranfered to an unidentified voice mail box where I left a message that has not been returned.

This place has numerous rules and expectations from the clients but apparently feels they owe nothing to the people paying their wages. They are always extremely rude and uncooperative. It is the clients responsibility to send completion paper work to the court. Every other facility that I know of handles that.

Many of the attendees in my group have said they addded classe to them too. This is all about money and someone is pocketing thousands a day.

They got $30 extra from me and nearly every other person in my group. Someone needs to hold that facility and the staff accountable. Their services are unjust.
