Patent Invention
I invented the lighter leash! I need someone to help me!

Etween 9 and 13 years ago i sent my invention (which is now known as the lighter leash) to a company wich i think is called the patent invention corp. They have an animated commercial of a cave man inventing the wheel out of stone. I called the number on the commercial and they sent me an inventors pack.

I drew the invention wich is now known as the "lighter leash" and wrote a description of it and sent it in. I was contacted about a month later from one of there reps. They wanted me to pay them around 6,000 dollars to from me to patent and dvelop it for me. I didnt have that kind of money and told them i couldnt pay that, and that was that. Now years later i am seeing them in every store i go to and it is like a smack in the face!

I would like to know if the company i sent my info has anything to do with the (lighter leash) making its way to the market place and if there is anything i can do, or if i have any legal standing. I meen if someone else invented it im happy for them but if tht company took my idea and made money for it i think i should be entitled to something. If any body can help me i would appreciate it. Im still in the same vote. I live pay check to pay check and i dont have alot of money..
