I also have a very similar story like Karen. Actually that's me and my daughter's story exactly. We were actually walking around Balboa Park and we were approaached and this lady was very excited and said that my daughter fit the profile of what they were looking for for a new show that was going to air on one of our local t.V. Channels. She wanted us to go to this invitation only audition and it was tomorrow. Well I was kind of taken by surprise and had no time to think before my daughter was begging me to take her. Well there we were at the Sherraton Hotel for our "audition" and she was so excited. We filled out paper work that asked for our financial background which should have been a red flag right away. They had her go on camera and say these lines and then told us to go to an "interview" and the guy told us that they would look over the tapes and then start the call the call backs. He also mentioned that because of her inexperience that she would need a acting coach and that would probably would run around 300.00. Of course he needed to add that, that would be a small price to pay for a good future in the buisness. Well, we left the Sherraton with high hopes of being a star and rubbing elbows with Miley Cirus and the rest of the young stars and waited for our call back. A few days goes by and of course we gat the call back, we want your daughter she made the call back of course why not she's cute he says. So we call everyone we know and she is in tears of joy. Then I dicided
to do the research that the man so nicely suggested that I do and I came upon the story of another mom in my situation and had to breack my duaghters heart and tell her that this place was ripping us off. How dare this company play with the minds of children this way. Who the heck do you think you are. You want people to go to your school than advertise the school. Don't trick our kids! I plan on taking this story all over San Diego, if this is your story to than do the same let's get this company back to San Fransico.
