I had problems with Sirius from the first week I had service with them. I had a terrible signal and they refused to do anything about it - blamed it on a faulty radio and told me to exchange it. I did (Radio Shack was wonderful about that) but the second radio did the same thing. I was calling them every other day but they weren't doing anything about it. Finally one of their reps said they'd send me something that would help give better reception (only one rep knows about this???) so I waited, and waited and waited. I had to call in TWO more times to get them to send it! When it got here I discovered this wasn't something I could install myself and you had to call in to the number provided with the device to set up an appointment. Someone was supposed to call me back within 48 hours with the appointment time and place but they never did. Turns out they don't have anyone within hundreds of miles to install this thing!!! On top of these things their customer service people are the most obnoxious, rude bunch of creeps I've ever had to deal with. One of them literally laughed at me and told me there was nothing I could do about it and he'd make sure I didn't get my money back by putting a note on my account for other reps to see. This company should NOT be in business. Most of them don't speak good enough English to even understand you when you call in and the ones that do, they don't care anyway. If anybody is debating between Sirius and XM, go with XM. I don't know what their customer service is like but they can't be as bad as Sirius.
