Byron Bonney and Philip Molineux of Lloyds North have invested a fortune to protect Philip Bonney of Midas Australia. The system was not developed to protect Byron's son against investigations into his failed fraud franchising scam. The list of corrupt politicians and influential bureaucrats was developed and used long before Bonney junior, aka Philip, became an embarrassment.
Byron and Philip have spent massive sums since 1977 to receive government grants and contracts while ensuring that those that are needed to turn a blind eye to do just that. They have a history of breaching local, state and federal laws and getting away with it but no one is suggesting it has been cheap. They have a history of receiving government contracts and grants but no one is suggesting it has been cheap.
Corrupt politicians and influential bureaucrats have been expensive but now it seems that there is a little fear in the camp with a broadening of investigations into Victorian corruption.
The father and the son and Mollineux all appear ready to defend themselves with more back room financing but the concern is that those that have been in their pocket are now becoming very difficult to contact.
Police have interviewed Philip Bonney with regard to extortion charges and an arrest is imminent. Now it seems that Byron Bonneys attempts to spend up to save his son arent being accepted by politicians fearful of fallout from previous contributions.
No one wants to go to jail with either Bonney and with so many weak links in the chain of conspiracy it is becoming increasingly obvious that trust has gone out the window. Paranoia has set in and Australian Federal Police expect this to be their downfall where a loosening of the bowels of both Lloyds North and Midas will become the extra evidence needed against them.
