The old adage — "Buyer beware!" is never truer than with this company!!!
Finally gave in to my curiosity vs. My intuition about the Weight Loss Cures book by Kevin Trudeau (ITV Direct, Natural Cures). Ordered book at special price of $14.95 plus 9.95 shipping & handling (s&h). While on phone was offered 2 more books FREE!!! Just pay s&h of $9.95 ea. = $29.85 s&h for 3 books. On August 16 $44.80 was debited to my account for these books — accordingly I should have received books within 12 weeks (by October 31). Gave it a couple of days more just to make sure, called on November 9. Was told that I had already been credited $14.95 for 1 book - Weight Loss Cures (refunded prior to my calling — suspicious to say the least). Makes you wonder — Were the books ever shipped? When I said I wanted the s&h refunded as well (thought this was prefectly logically as I did not receive said books). Was told that legally they did not have to give back. I told them what a sweet operation they had going. They were thieves. They stole $29.85 from me without an ounce of remorse.
Kevin Trudeau should be ashamed of himself. No wonder he's a millionaire. He steals from people and calls it s&h and oh, they are sorry but they do not need to refund this portion of the money taken because they can keep it legally. Offer a product, charge an outrageous fee for s&h claim they don't have to return the s&h charge just cover the cost of books not recieved or shipped if ever. Profit = $14.90 (when ordered at special price) x 100 = $1,490.00 continue to multiply this by thousands & you are a millionaire overnight. Remorse be hanged, morality doesn't exist. Hope you can sleep at night!!! You better have a whopper of a lie ready for your kids when they asked how you made your million.
