Pearson, Pearson Education, Retribution for reporting children in endangered school/family situations. Pearson scores tests for the No Child Left Behind Act

"It doesn't matter what you write, no one's going to read this except me." One manager said of my short paragraph regarding what appeared to me to be an endangered student. I have taught elementary school in California and High School English in Sumatra, BA Claremont McKenna College cum laud Management Engineering, BS, MS Industrial Engineering Stanford University. No Pearson office has either officially or other wise responded to my written complaints, sent both via regular post and the internet.

One 10-year-old told of being repeatedly belt-whipped, and his hiding in the corner as part of the repeated punishment, of which he really wanted more as administered by his hero, his father. Another 10-year-old told of what may be a prelude to or was a gang rape.

Some students, although clearly describing what may in fact be repeated and illegal abuse, bullying, repeated and repeatable abuse by those not members of the victim's family, are simply not sufficient writers to describe what may still be for young victims unfathomable abuse - one female being trapped by three boys, another being bullied into purchasing drugs. These students are very wrongly ignored.

It is very clear that ignoring clear if not well-written reports of what may be felony abuse deserves to be investigated in good faith and in the spirit of what are surely abusive situations that come to light with increased elementary, junior high and high school testing mandated by the "No Child Left Behind Act" and the "Students With Disabilities Education Act."

I am clearly and unilaterally abrogating any potential agreement with Pearson to inform authorities and the press that harassment and hazing as well as what amounts to clear child abuse is being overlooked, not reported correctly, and not reported sufficiently, and very clearly and explicitly for fear of retribution and losing educational scoring contracts.

I am also reporting abuse that represents sexist harassment at the workplace and unavoidable swearing by scorers about teachers.

"Don't write in the box that you are given to comment on a scoring exception, " confided another manager. "The people who paid for the project have to actually read that... It doesn't just go to us."

Pearson really does not make the grade in objective and good scoring of your children - I will actually go as far as to not send my children to Pearson-scored schools. When children do everything they can in writing, no matter how poorly described, to bring attention to abuse, they deserve to be heard.
