My credit card was charged 69.95 for something I did not authorize

I ordered a one-time suppy of Hoodia Green Tea at a cost of 6.95 from this company and was billed 6.95 on September 20 to my credit card. I received the pills on September 29.

In the package was no documentation as to this order or any information telling me anything about the pills themselves or being billed on another date! The only thing included in the package was the pills themselves. I checked my credit card statement and noticed that not only was I billed on Sptember 20 for 6.95, but I was also billed on October 1 for 69.95, and I did NOT authorize this charge.

I called the company about this and was rudely told by someone named "Lisa" who would not give her last name, her supervisors name, or a time when I could contact her supervisor or a manager. She kept telling me there was a no refund policy, and I kept telling her I did not authorize such a charge! I feel this is unfair business practice and would like my 69.95 refunded. This company is highly unprofessional.

If the charge was to your credit card (not debit card, check card, or checking account), contact the credit card company as soon as possible to request a dispute form. Consumers usually have a little longer to dispute fraudulent credit card charges (up to 6 months), but it is better to act right away.in this type of situation, credit card disputes are usually successful since fraudulent companies often won't contest the disputed charge.in rare cases, credit card companies will review disputes, but refuse to reverse the charges. If this occurs, complain to a manager and let them know you will be filing a report here.

Remember Don't let them get away with it! Make sure they make the consumer complaints. The more Reports filed on a Company or individual, the more likely it is that the authorities, media and attorneys will want to take action.
