Ripoff victimized consumers Jacksonville and or TX

I was just going online to confirm HomeSide accepted my payment, because I have had severe issues in the past and found SO many usacomplaints.com that honestly... Sounded like someone wrote them for me.

I hate to sound glad that others have been ripped off... But I'm glad I'm not alone! I have continuosly battled with Homeside. They say they haven't received my payment... 3-5 days later, I receive my payment returned in the mail with a letter saying they do not accept late payments "partial payments". Well, when I sent it, it should have been received within a two week period and processed... But by the time they put it through... Or say they received it, it's considered late. I have been so close to forclosure 3 times.

I went through a divorce, I had been a stay at home mom for a year or two. I immediately found employment with the company I had worked for for 5 years... But they didn't understand that I needed 2 weeks before I would receive my first check. So my house payment was going to be received by them around the 12th of the month. Still, this is before the 16th that they claim is the cut off day.

Since then, two years ago, I have been struggling to keep my payments on time... They continue to mail my payments back saying they didn't receive them until after the 16th. I have called, emailed and faxed SEVERAL times... I am always told there are programs to assist if I can't make my payments. #1.. I CAN make my payments, I can't however make my payment, recieve it the third week returned and now have late fees on top of it!

Their suggestion has always been to me that I should pay by phone, or over night the payment... This way - they can't 'hold for processing'. Well, these both cost $12.50! But, you do what you have to do in order to make it on time with NO doubt. I have still been scammed!

My loan is only for $50,000 on a $94,000 house... Once this started happening, I thought it best to refinance with another company because HomeSide is ripping me off!!! Well, I can't find anyone that will refinance my home because of all the so called 'Late Payments' I've made!

I have even started to overnight money orders. There is no 'hold for processing' with a money order or bank check. It's as good as receiving cash. Well, just this past month... Same thing happened.

Someone needs to stop them! I would love to do something, but what? If anyone knows more about the class action lawsuit. Please post it in a complaint and title the report lawsuit! You would be helping SO MANY people! Or. If you know of any other way of STOPPING them from ripping off the people that are trying to pay them!!!

Three of my friends have had the same problems with Homeside, however my stepdad did not. Only difference between all of us... His house was worth over $200,000 and his payments were always a month early. Well, I would love to pay a month a head... But I, as most working class american's can not pay a month a head. So, I believe that once you are late on ONE payment (and by late I mean you haven't mailed it by the 20th of the previous month. Because that's when they'll hold it until the 16th) they strike and you can never recover from it. They are like a mudslide... You can't stop them no matter how hard you try.

If anyone knows of any better institution that would refinance my home ($40,000 in equity) to get my mortgage away from these vile creatures that deserve to go under, please post that information as well under a complaint titled refinance.
